What is BotLunar?
BotLunar is software for people who run a Discord server and sell something through it: prop firms, trading educators and signal communities, course creators, creators and game studios.
A customer creates their own bot in the Discord Developer Portal, connects it to BotLunar and adds it to one server. Campaigns go from that bot, with its name and avatar, to the members of that one server.
BotLunar includes direct message campaigns, welcome messages, a channel opt-in button, email capture, a shared reply inbox, tracked links, templates, scheduling, quiet hours, A/B tests, automations and analytics. Every tool is on every plan, with no fee per message.
BotLunar is not affiliated with Discord.
Who runs BotLunar?
BotLunar is operated and sold by Muhammad Abdullah, a sole proprietor in Pakistan, trading as BotLunar.
BotLunar is built by Prop Firm Studios and is part of The Lunar Suite.
The business address is Mall of Faisalabad, Office No. 27, 2nd Floor, Canal Road, Faisalabad, Pakistan.
How does BotLunar handle permission to message?
When a server owner connects a server, BotLunar asks them to paste the wording their server's rules screening uses to ask members to agree to direct messages, and to tick a box confirming it is true. BotLunar cannot check this with Discord: it is the owner's statement about their own server, kept word for word with who made it and when.
From then on, every member BotLunar reads from that server can be messaged, recorded as covered by the owner's declaration.
A member who says yes themselves, through the welcome message, a channel opt-in button or email capture, is recorded as confirmed by the member. That is stronger evidence, and a declaration never overwrites it. Reports show which of these each message relied on and never merge them.
Every promotional message has an unsubscribe link that works at once, including for messages already queued. Nobody who unsubscribes is ever messaged again or brought back by a later sync.
The server owner is responsible for having a lawful basis to message their own members under the laws that apply to them.
How does BotLunar send messages?
- Each bot sends at most 12 direct messages a minute, one every 5 seconds. That is BotLunar's own safety limit, slower than Discord allows, and a server's pace is the sum of its sending bots.
- When Discord asks a bot to slow down, with a rate limit and a Retry-After header, that bot waits and resumes while the others carry on.
- A frequency cap counts across all campaigns: one message per member in any 24 hours on Lunar Daily, one in any 7 days on Lunar Weekly.
- Sent and delivered are never merged. Discord confirms it accepted a direct message, never that anybody read it, so BotLunar shows no open rate.
