01Who they are and what they do
- Render. Runs the website, the dashboard, the sending worker and the API, in Frankfurt, Germany. Everything the service handles passes through it while running.
- Neon. The database, in Frankfurt, Germany. Accounts, workspaces, members and their consent, campaigns, messages, and the audit log.
- Upstash. The queue and the rate limiter, in Redis. Short-lived jobs naming ids, and counters. No message text.
- Cloudflare. File storage (R2) for campaign media, data exports and backup copies of the database. Files customers upload, exports while their download link lasts, and the newest four weekly database copies.
- Discord. Sign in, and delivering messages through each customer's own bots. The Discord account used to sign in, and the messages a customer sends.
- Resend. Product email, once it is switched on. Email addresses and the emails sent to them.
- Paddle. Payments, as merchant of record, once billing is live. Billing details. Card numbers go to Paddle and never reach us.
- Anthropic. Drafts a suggested reply in the inbox when a person on the customer's team presses Draft a reply, using its Claude models. The last messages of that one conversation, the member's name and the server's name, for that request only. BotLunar keeps neither what was sent nor the draft; a person reads and edits the draft and decides whether to send it.
- Sentry. Records errors so we can fix them. The error and where it happened, with email addresses, Discord IDs and keys removed first. Kept 90 days.
- Better Stack. Monitors that our services are running. A signal that each service is up. No personal information.
- Google. Website analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google Ads), on the public website only, with consent where required. How visitors use the public website, and which visits came from BotLunar's ads. Never the dashboard or the Console.
- Meta. Advertising measurement (the Meta Pixel), on the public website only, with consent where required. Which visits came from BotLunar's ads on Facebook and Instagram. Never the dashboard or the Console.
The dashboard shows avatars, server icons and bot banners directly from Discord's servers, so Discord sees your IP address when they load.
02Services you connect yourself
When you connect Klaviyo, or add a webhook of your own, BotLunar sends the data you chose to the account or address you gave. Those are your providers, chosen by you, and their terms are between you and them. BotLunar sends an email there only when its owner gave consent to email, or to suppress it after they unsubscribed.
03More
How BotLunar uses personal data, and how to see it, export it or ask for it to be deleted, is in the privacy policy.
